Under the Department of Guidance and Counseling, the college has a Placement Information Bureau, which provides information and guidance to students on the emerging employment opportunities and prepare students accordingly. It is a matter of great satisfaction that almost cent percent students have been placed in different capacities in various institutions all over India.

To give a boost to the creative talents of the students, teaching and non-teaching staff members the college has a monthly wall magazine and monthly bulletin on Education.

Students seeking admission either for B.Ed. or M.Ed. course should submit the application in the prescribed form. The application cum prospectus can be collected from the college office or at Siliguri, opposite of Yamaha Building, Sevoke Road, Siliguri, Ph. 9474349775 by paying Rs. 150/- either in person or through post by forwarding M.O / D.D of Rs. 200/- drawn in favor of Harkamaya College of Education payable at UBI, Deorali Branch. Payment can also be made through electronic transfer of money vide A/C No. 30361196362 of SBI, Deorali. Incomplete application form will summarily be rejected without intimating the candidate. If the application form is downloaded from the website, the fee of Rs. 200/- is required to be paid along with application form.

The application form should accompany the following documents

1. Two sets of xerox copies of marksheets and certificates of HSC. (Original also for verification)

2. One copy of certificate showing date of birth. (Original for verification)

3. No objection and Service certificate for deputed candidates only. (Original)

4. Original Migration Certificate (other than Sikkim (Central) University) with a copy of the same for all students.

5. One copy of University registration certificate for the candidates passed from Sikkim (Central) University (original for verification).

6. Three passport photo of self.

7. One copy of caste certificate for ST/ SC/OBC.
   (Original for verification)
